هشتمین کنگره بین المللی مراقبت های ویژه
Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of Dr. Ali Amirsavadkouhi, President of the Iranian Society of ICU and Critical Care, it is our great pleasure to thank you to join the 8th international Congress on critical care (2023), which will be held on January 11-13, 2023, in Tehran, Iran.
For almost 10 years, we have hosted an international meeting for intensivists and all people who are somehow related to the intensive care unit, attracting a growing number of international attendees from around the world to share best clinical practices and research discoveries that will shape the future of our field and raise the standards of care. However, during the last three years, due to the epidemic of COVID-19, it was not possible to hold this gathering. Here I have to thank all the intensivists around the world who helped the patients at the highest level of risk and I have special thanks to my colleagues in Iran who fought this disease and controlled it without government aid.
It is a pleasure to the 2023 meeting will be physical, and preparations are already in progress. We are considering all scenarios while our focus is on an in-person experience with all the attributes of the gathering.
Following the tradition of previous meetings, a great deal of thought went into formulating a stimulating scientific program prepared for you by our Scientific Programme Committee and Council, offering the opportunity to meet with colleagues, and learn about new developments in ICU and Critical Care medicine.
This year’s program will highlight the recent developments in the management of patients' hospitalization in the ICU delivered by a specially selected line-up of world experts.
Topics will include the newest aspects in diagnostics, and medical concepts, as well as tailored strategies at the time of diagnosis and recurrent disease.
A special program will be designed for young clinicians by our community, including a unique variety of hands-on workshops.
Representatives of companies providing ancillary services related to special care will be actively involved in the congress and present exclusive updates on new emerging pathways and targeted treatments in ICU.
When enjoying the opportunities to learn and network at congress 2022, you will also have the chance to explore Tehran, an ever-evolving city with a vibrant culture, alive with history and cutting-edge architecture from palaces and museums through to modern sites.
I'm sending my gratitude, thoughts and prayers your way for all you have done and sacrificed these last months. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses out risking their lives to save others in pandemic covid- 19 in Iran.
